Healthy Fit Kids


Hi I'm Kate. I am a mum of three beautiful children who I adore and am married to the most supportive husband who is my number fan.

I am a qualified Early Childhood Educator, also studying a year of Psychology and a Bachelor of Human Services in Child & Family Studies.

I have worked with children in a wide range of settings as a Nanny (in Australia & America), a camp counselor, a school holidays program supervisor, after school hours care supervisor, group leader, relief worker and also in kindergartens and as a youth worker.

Yoga and Meditation are a part of our families daily life.

I get how hard this parenting gig can be.... I truly understand the craziness of life with kids. Trying to balance it all is difficult and some days feels impossible.

It took me many years after becoming a mother to work this out, but I now know that my own cup must be full for me to be the best version of myself so I can give my children (and husband) their best life. If my cup is empty, I have nothing left to give to anyone else.

I am a big believer in the parents, (both mums and dads) being happy and filling their own cups so they can then give more to their families. Then all the rest can happen much more smoothly. Adding in all the fun stuff..... getting out into nature, spending quality time together, supporting your children on an emotional level, eating healthy meals, being fit and active in a fun way, making creativity and imaginative play part of your daily lives and really connecting with your children and being present while they are young and at home with you.

We only get one life, let your kids see you living it, be in the moment with them, remember what is truly important to you and make sure you know how awesome you are and how great of a job you are doing!!! x
